Mr. Tophat = Rudolf Nordström

Mr. Tophat is a Stockholm-based producer, DJ and label owner, born in 1990 to two of Sweden's noted visual artists. He co-founded the label Junk Yard Connections in 2008 and Karlovak with Art Alfie in 2011. His solo albums have both received Grammy nominations, and his collaborations span Robyn, Axel Boman and Kleerup — including production and writing work on Robyn's 2018 album Honey. His sound blends dark disco, house, and classical instrumentation, and he's been covered by outlets including the New York Times, Billboard, and Pitchfork.
