Raoul Belmans is a Belgian DJ and producer often described as "the godfather of Belgian house," with a career spanning more than two decades. He is one half of Swirl People, the long-running Belgian house project he formed with producer/engineer Dimitri Dewever in 1997, releasing four albums and more than 55 twelve-inch singles across various labels. In 1998 he launched his own label, Aroma, in partnership with Belgium's N.E.W.S. distribution, building a roster that included releases from Freaks and Rob Mello among many others - a direct, confirmed connection to the Music For Freaks family. He also hosted a long-running dance radio show, Aroma, on Belgian national station Studio Brussel. Belmans has picked up multiple Best Belgian House DJ awards and built a touring career spanning the UK, mainland Europe, the US, Australia, South Africa, and beyond. coming soon, watch this space (contact us for info)
