Lil Mark
Lil Mark = Mark Currell; one half of Phonic Crunch
Lil Mark began DJing in 1992 and spent formative time in Chicago alongside Derrick Carter, Chris Nazuka and Tim Schumaker, where he picked up the fundamentals of production. His 1998 collaboration with Rob Mello, "Love Shared," became a widely respected dancefloor cut, and its success led to the "At That Place" EP on Derrick Carter's Classic Records. After a break from the scene for family reasons, Mark returned in 2017 and has remained active since, also recording as one half of Phonic Crunch with longtime friend Joe "Pale People" Jeffries, and co-running FingerPrince Recordings.
