jozif

jozif is a London-born DJ and producer who broke through in 2010 with releases on Wolf + Lamb, Mobilee, and Ministry of Sound, alongside a Resident Advisor podcast made up entirely of his own productions and edits - a rare showcase that helped establish him quickly across the international circuit. That same year he launched Fist or Finger, a limited-edition vinyl label co-run with fabric's musical director Craig Richards, pairing jozif's dancefloor A-sides with Richards's more experimental reworks on the flip; their debut release, "Beats In Space," sold out instantly. His summer anthem "Twilight," featuring vocalist Terri Walker, became a genuine crossover hit, and he was later signed by LA's Culprit Records for EPs including "Standard Rising" and the two-part "Waikiki." Known for a richly musical, string-laden, emotionally generous take on house, jozif has also recorded for the prestigious Balance mix series and later formed the duo Kerb Staller alongside Matt Tolfrey. His confirmed catalogue includes credits alongside Freaks and Ricardo Baez, among others.
