Joshua Iz — also recording as Circulation, J-Boom, C++, Free Energy, Stereo People, Dubwise, and as one half of Iz & Diz — has been DJing since 1986. Raised in Oak Park, Illinois before moving to San Francisco, he co-founded the long-running "Bionic" Sunday party at The Top in San Francisco in 1998, one of the city's longest-running house nights. He runs his own label, Vizual Records, launched in 2009, and has well over 200 production credits across labels including Prescription, Classic, and Six Degrees. His work has been championed by Gilles Peterson, Mark Farina, and Derrick Carter, among others.
