Honey Dijon

Honey Dijon grew up on Chicago's South Side in a musical family, and found her way into the city's house scene through digging at legendary record stores like Gramaphone and Imports Etc. There she formed a lasting friendship with Derrick Carter, who became a mentor and introduced her to Chicago's jacking house and Detroit techno underground - Mark Farina was another early influence. After relocating to New York, she was drawn further in by Danny Tenaglia's legendary Twilo sets before eventually splitting her time between New York and Berlin. She released her debut album, The Best of Both Worlds, in 2017, followed by Black Girl Magic in 2022. That same year she co-produced multiple tracks on Beyonce's house-inspired album Renaissance, work that earned her a Grammy Award for Best Dance Album in 2023. Alongside her music career, she's become a notable figure in fashion, collaborating with brands including Ray-Ban, MCM, and Dover Street Market, and is an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility.
