Hector Moralez

Hector Moralez is a DJ and producer from Oakland, California, whose house music career began at 17, cutting his teeth at the acclaimed Primal Records store. There he formed a production partnership with Phil Weeks as Fries & Bridges, before founding his own label, Minority Music, followed by a digital imprint, The Factory. Rooted in Chicago house, Detroit techno, and West Coast funk, his sound is known for a soulful, groove-driven signature. He built a strong reputation through his "Get Underground" night at San Francisco's Club Six and a residency at Paris's legendary Rex Club, alongside releases on Robsoul Recordings and his own imprints.
