Danny Soul Mekanik

Danny Mekanik is a British DJ, producer, and remixer whose career dates back to 1988, when he created what's regarded as the UK's first home-grown acid house record, "Ride the Rhythm (Acid Not Placid)," under the name This Ain't Chicago. Over more than two decades he's written, produced, and played music with a striking range of collaborators, including Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Tom Jones, and Lana Del Rey in the studio, alongside DJ work spanning London's Fabric and The End to venues in Miami, Los Angeles, Paris, and beyond. He has performed alongside house pioneers including Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson, and Maurice Fulton.
