AJ Christou

AJ Christou is a Manchester-born DJ and producer whose sound blends house, minimal, and techno with a distinctly percussive, New York-inflected swing. He began his career at 17 with a residency at Manchester's legendary Sankeys nightclub, quickly drawing attention for his sets. In 2013 he relocated to New York to focus on production, signing to Cuttin' Headz within a year and releasing the club hit "What You Think," followed by a remix for The Martinez Brothers. In 2015 he founded his own label, Celesta Recordings, later launching a second imprint, V-House Sound. His music has appeared on Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels, and Paradise, and has drawn support from major names including Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, and The Martinez Brothers.
